Mainfeed Sample Pack

The soft NatureHolic Mainfeed Softpads were designed for daily feeding. They contain all the nutrients shrimp need for carapace development, egg production, and growth. During production, we prioritize a gentle and environmentally friendly cold-press process, which largely preserves the vitamins and other valuable ingredients. After all, "Anything that goes against nature will not last in the long run" - Charles Darwin knew that!

We deliberately avoid the use of fishmeal. Instead, we use insects as a protein source. In addition to protein, insects also provide chitin, cholesterol, and the important molting hormone ecdysone, which directly benefits shrimp in carapace development and molting.

Valuable spirulina, moringa leaves, and iodine-rich kelp contribute vital nutrients such as vitamins, provitamins, trace elements, valuable vegetable protein, and secondary plant compounds. As natural sources of carotenoids and especially astaxanthin, spirulina, moringa, and salmon oil can promote intense coloration and more vital animals. Especially the blue-green algae spirulina (Arthrospira platensis), in addition to moringa leaves, has proven itself many times in shrimp breeding; its positive effects on shrimp have been well studied scientifically and confirmed multiple times. Spirulina is also an important source of valuable vegetable protein. In addition to valuable natural astaxanthin, salmon oil also contains essential unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, which can be particularly well metabolized by shrimp.

Processed grains serve as the main energy source. Gently dried yeasts contribute beta-glucan and mannan-oligosaccharide as immune boosters, as well as nucleotides and lecithins - as lubricants for a variety of energetic processes.

To specifically prevent deficiency symptoms, we have incorporated our vitamin mix: Vitamin D3 for the calcium metabolism of shrimp as important support during molting, Vitamin A for the development of the hypodermis and eggs, to support the immune system and especially as an antioxidant to protect against reactive molecules and bacteria, and Vitamin C, which is also an important antioxidant and is also required for smooth molting.

Our proven mineral mix provides iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), and manganese (Mn), which are needed by shrimp as trace elements for the formation of a variety of important enzymes and can thus ensure smooth molting. In addition, trace elements are necessary for the formation of various hormones such as the growth hormone ecdysone and for protein production and can thus support shrimp in normal growth.

Feeding recommendation:
Feed 1-2 times daily as much as the animals consume in a few minutes. Feed sparingly, usually one 5 mm pad is sufficient for 15-25 shrimp.

Store cool and dry, no refrigeration necessary.
